AIRBNB DESIGN
My experience as an interior designer has positioned me perfectly to design Airbnb’s. I studied Sustainable Interior Design at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts. After school, I worked in a high-end residential design firm, learning the in-depth process of designing people’s homes. I was fascinated by hospitality design and joined a firm that specializes in hotels and country clubs. I learned about large group settings, public spaces, durability, and all things hospitality. Airbnb design is a niche between residential and hospitality. We are in a new era where we can host little hotels in our homes. The competition has grown for this market and the pictures of the Airbnb spaces are the main form of selection process for guests. Our goal is to make your Airbnb a boutique hotel, where the design sets it apart from the rest. I offer a few different packages depending on the level of involvement you are looking for.
AIRBNB DESIGN PACKAGES
-
Concept
This is the simplest package. After an initial consultation, I will create a concept for your space. This will include identifying a style, inspiration images, color palette, paint suggestions and an accent wall concept or other special element to the specific design.
-
Concept + Space Planning
As well as creating the concept, I will measure the space, draw the common areas for furniture plans and create a space plan for the project.
-
Concept + Space Planning + Specifications
After creating a concept, measuring and drawing a furniture plan, this package also includes selecting furniture and providing links to purchase the items.
TURNKEY AIRBNB DESIGN PACKAGE
-
Turnkey is a full service design. I will show you a concept, depending on how much involvement you want, you will sign-off on selections, or just give me the green light. When you come back, the Airbnb will be ready to rent. The main difference between the first packages and this one is procurement, installation, and styling.
Procurement is the process of purchasing, tracking, and making sure that everything arrives where it needs to be.
Installation is receiving all the items, making sure that they are assembled, put into place, organizing painting, wallcovering, or any other trade that our design involved.
Styling is more than the finishing touches. The best-looking design is layered. When you watch the big reveal on HGTV, those homes look full and complete. This is because the bathrooms have accessories, the bookshelves have books and vases, the lighting is overhead as well as floor lamps and table lamps, the design is layered. This can be a difficult thing to accomplish with an Airbnb. Often adding more and more will make it look thrown together. The styling and layering needs to follow the concept to enrich the design.
